Ductwork Installation
19. Use 7" round aluminum or steel pipe to connect the plastic
damper on the hood to the ductwork above.
20. Use duct tape to make all joints secure and air tight. Make
sure pipe is in the groove of the plastic damper. Refer to
Figure 14.
Duct Cover Installation
21. (SKIP STEP 22 and 23 IF USING THE RECIRCULATING CONVERSION KIT. YOU WILL
NOT NEED THE DUCT COVER-MOUNTING BRACKET.) Using references in Table 1 and
measurements on page 14, mark the leveling point for duct cover-mounting bracket.
22. Secure the duct cover-mounting bracket to the wall with two screws (not provided). Refer to
Figure 15. Make sure all screws are tightened.
23. Hook the inner duct cover onto the duct cover-mounting bracket and release the outer duct
cover to fit onto the hood as shown in Figure 15 and 16.
Final Assembly
24. Rotate the oil container clockwise to install it. Shown in Figure
17.
25. Turn power ON in control panel. Check all lights and fan
operation.
26. Make sure to leave this manual for the homeowner.
