Metal grease filter

Filter removal

Fire hazard ! Greasy residues impair the performance of the cooker hood and
increase the risk of fire. To prevent a fire hazard, the metal filter must be
cleaned regularly. The grease filters must be cleaned every 14 days at the la-
test. The necessary cleaning of the grease filters is also indicated by the LED display:
After 15 hours of operation, the red LED on the ceiling unit starts flashing - please
clean the metal filters afterwards. Pull the glass flap down slightly with both hands
until the magnetic contact is released. Slowly swivel the glass flap down and the metal
filters behind it can now be removed. Metal filters are best cleaned in the dishwasher
using a gentle dishwasher detergent. The manufacturer does not assume any guaran-
tee for possible discolorations caused by the use of aggressive cleaning agents. Tem-
peratures above 55 degrees should also be avoided.
Attention : Do not use 3-phase cleaners or multi-phase cleaners. DO NOT clean the
metal filter in a commercial dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive agents such as pet-
rol, acetone, trichloroethylene etc. will destroy the metal filters !
Please note : Due to a galvanic reaction
occurring during the rinsing process, the
metal grease filters must not be washed
simultaneously with silver cutlery or sil-
ver dishes. There is no right to com-
plaint if this fact is not considered.
Reinsert the metal filter after the
cleaning process, then keep the toggle
switch (F = filter saturation to the right)
pressed for 10 seconds. The operating
hours counter will be reseted and the
red LED turns off. Then lift the glass flap
with both hands to close the unit.
