The following diagrams will help you visualise and quickly become familiar with the use
of FLOWmix.
For complete satisfaction and to ensure your FLOWmix continues to be reliable for many
years, these essential rules must be followed precisely and staff must be given appropriate
training.
Please keep in mind the following characteristics of FLOWmix:
Minimum working pressure: 22 Psi.
-
Maximum working pressure: 435 Psi. (depending on coupling type used).
-
Concentration adjustable from 0.1 to 3%.
-
-
Concentration accurate over an output range of 5.3 to 530 Gal/min.
(For a concentration of 0.1 to 1%) and up 132 Gal/min (to 3%).
Tank fillable during operation without having to stop the pump or the feed nozzles.
-
When injecting additive for class A BIO-FOR C type fires, set the concentration as follows:
Using a traditional water nozzle for extinguishing a fire directly and spraying
-
the source of the fire: set between 0.1 and 0.3%.
Using a low-expansion foam nozzle for spraying vertical surfaces near the source
-
of the fire: set between 0.4 and 0.7%.
Using a foam nozzle for total flooding and overhauling after extinction: set between
-
0.5 and 0.7%.
