nobody gets hurt!
Also loosen the fasteners and the Velcro straps on the left and right, up to the height at which the
"roll-up elastics" are located on the sides of the SunnyTent (at approx. 1.80 m height).
b. Then roll up the canvas of the 'middle section' from the bottom;
• Two people will need to do this together, one left, one right.
• Roll the tent foil tight and straight.
c. Roll up the tent foil until the four "roll-up bobbins" (which are on the inside of the tent) come
out. The 4 "roll-up elastics", which are located on the outside of the tent, are then stretched
around the "roll-up bobbins", with which the rolled-up tent is secured. Two people should work
together at the same time and start at the far left and far right "roll-up elastics / roll-up bobbins";
then come together at the two middle ones.
d. You can thus fully open your SunnyTent, or close one or both sides simultaneously. Note: The
wind can seriously damage your SunnyTent. Never leave your SunnyTent unattended. Always close
the tent properly and always secure the tent as described above. Also, carefully read and follow
the operating instructions and safety guidelines.
C. MANUAL
1. Please read the safety guidelines carefully first. Comply with these guidelines now and in the future.
2. The SunnyTent can only be assembled on locations where the anchors and pegs can be twisted
/ hammered into the ground. If you want to place the SunnyTent on a hard surface, you will need
the special "hard-surface-installation-set".
3. Never place your SunnyTent on a hard surface without using a special hard surface installation kit.
This is to prevent wear on the underside of the tent (the two lowest pole tunnels). Such wear is
not covered under the warranty.
If the ground surface on which you wish to install your SunnyTent is not even, wear on the
underside (the two lowest pole tunnels) can occur, even when using a hard surface installation kit.
Therefore, only install a SunnyTent on an even surface.
4.Very rarely the foil of the SunnyTent can be damaged by a combination of the following factors:
• in strong sunshine
• the tent is completely opened so that the layers of tent foil of the 'head sections' are lying on
each other and in direct sun.
A combination of these factors can cause the anti-condensation wax layer on the tent foil to melt,
and can result in layers sticking together. If you later pull up the tent to close it, the layers of tent foil
can stick together, resulting in the foil becoming deformed.
If the above factors occur, then you should shield the stacked layers of tent foil from the sun, by
fitting them with the specially designed covers. These are available in our webshop. Without using these
covers you run the risk of 'melt damage' to your tent foil. This damage is not covered by the warranty.
If the cover is not available in our webshop, then you should protect the stacked tent foil from the
sun with a thick light colored insulating blanket or other similar insulating material.
5. The SunnyTent is suitable for a variety of uses. The most common use is to cover a swimming
pool, sandpit, trampoline and / or kitchen garden. The SunnyTent, however, is sometimes used to
temporarily store products that are required to stay dry. Keep in mind that sufficient ventilation
is required to prevent stored products from spoiling etc.
