4.3 After usage

1. Switch off the therapy unit. Wait until the humidifier and the water inside it
have cooled down.

locking button 1 on the left of the breath humid-
ifier and detaching the breath humidifier.

If your therapy unit is to be used for several patients
(e.g. in a hospital), the bacteria filter WM 24148
should be used to protect against infection. It is insert-
ed between tube system and therapy unit/breath hu-
midifier. The internal particle filter should be replaced
after 24 hours' usage and before every change of pa-
tient. When doing so, please also observe the operat-
ing instructions supplied with the bacteria filter.
