The field bus node CPX-FB13 for CPX terminals is intended
exclusively for use as a slave on the PROFIBUS-DP.
The maximum values specified in the section "Technical
specifications" must be observed here. Detailed informa-
tion can be found in the manual for the field bus node
P.BE-CPX-FB13-.. as well as in the CPX system manual
P.BE-CPX-SYS-.. .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable isola-
tion of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV). Switch
power packs are permitted, providing they guarantee
reliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950/
VDE 0805.
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-
sectional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The CPX field bus node contains electrostatically
sensitive components. Do not therefore touch any
contacts. Observe the regulations for handling elec-
trostatically sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
