Adjusting the group function on the
studio flash
In order to avoid alternating interference
signals, they can be adjusted in 4 different
groups in total.
1. Press the SLAVE button on the studio
flash for about 4 sec.
2. The display shows "C..". Press the
SLAVE button 2 times to access the
adjustment "G.." (group).
3. Use the arrow keys to adjust the desired
group (Ga, Gb, Gc or Gd).
4. Press the SLAVE button once again for
approx. 5 sec to save the selected group.
Or wait approx. 15 seconds, until the
display changes to the start page.
The following table shows how to correctly
adjust the setting between transmitter and
receiver in the studio flash to one another:

NOTE
Flash settings can only be made if the set-
tings between transmitter and receiver in
the flash unit are matching. The test button
on the transmitter can be actuated at any
time and will trigger a flash.
Pre-flash settings
Setting the time:
1. Press the SLAVE button for about 8 sec.
2. The display shows "t".
3. Use the arrow keys to set the time (up to
5 sec.) until the flash should be triggered.

Setting pre-flash suppression
1. Press the SLAVE button for about 4 sec.
2. The display shows "c".
3. Use the arrow keys to adjust the flash for
triggering, e.g. up to the 7th pre-flash.
Setting time based pre-flash suppression
1. Press the SLAVE button for about 8 sec.
2. The display shows "t".
3. Press the SLAVE button 2 times to access
the adjustment "G.." (group).
4. Use the arrow keys to block to block flash
triggering for up to 18 milliseconds.
With a setting of b5, the time is blocked for
10 milliseconds.
