6.5.1 Manual
Manual cleaning must always be combined with disinfection.
ATTENTION! Never immerse in disinfectants!
Never clean in an ultrasonic bath!
• Clean the contra-angle handpiece by brushing it off under
running water (< 38 °C, < 100 °F, at least drinking water
quality) and then blowing it out.
• Spray with T1 spray, see section 6.3.
Clean and disinfect spray channels with suitable agents and
adapters according to manufacturer's instructions, e.g. with
WL-cid made by Alpro.
All disinfectants have to be approved in your country and be
proven to have bactericide, fungicide and viricide properties.
