The distributor-turntable pressure tests are
performed with the wheel mounted.
WARNING
When working always keep the pressure of

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CLAMPING THE WHEEL
WARNING
During the clamping phase, make sure that
the clamps are positioned correctly on the
rim to prevent the wheel from falling.
1) Move the control console to working
position B.
2) Tilt the tool holder arm to the non-
working position.
3) Using the control lever R move the mobile
platform away from the turntable and put the
wheel on it, keeping it in vertical position.
WARNING
This operation can be extremely danger-
ous!
Perform it manually if you are absolutely
certain you can maintain the wheel equi-
librium only.
For heavy, large sized wheels you MUST use
a suitable lifting device.
4) Using the control lever R once again, lift or
lower the turntable holder arm until the turn-
table is as centred as possible with the rim.
5) With the clamps in a closed position, move
the wheel towards the turntable, moving the
mobile platform, then use the switch to open
the turntable and clamp the rim internally and
in the best position which depends on the rim
type, as shown in figures 13A -13B - 13C - 13D
13E - 13F.
Please remember that clamping on the cen-
tral flange is always considered the safest
approach.
