Use of the spray gun in zone 0 is prohibited!
- Do not use solvents and/or halocarbon based detergents (Ethyl trichloride, Methyl chloride, etc.) since they could rust
galvanised parts causing even explosive chemical reactions!
- Do not smoke or produce sparks: this could cause fire!
- Always be sure that the painting equipment is earthed correctly!
- Use antistatic compressed hoses to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic loads!
HEALTH EQUIPMENT AND PRECAUTIONS
- When using and cleaning the spray gun, always wear suitable protective glove and goggles, as well as specific masks
with filters!
- When using and cleaning the spray gun, wear suitable and antistatic work clothing to protect the body from contact
with toxic vapours, solvents or with the products in use!
- Wear suitable hearing protection when using the air gun since 85 dB(A) acoustic pressure levels may be exceeded!
- Use the spray gun only in well ventilated rooms!
- The use of some paint products containing organic solvents can cause intoxication due to the toxic fumes they emit.
In every case, it is necessary to read the technical sheets for the products before use!
- The use of compressors or other pulsating pressure generators may produce vibrations that can cause injuries due to
repeated stress, especially when the tube that connects the compressor to the spray gun is not sufficiently long and
flexible!
RISKS OF IMPROPER USE
- The spray gun must be exclusively used/overhauled by qualified and trained personnel;
- Handling the spray gun is prohibited to persons whose ability to react is impaired by drugs, alcohol, medication, or in

- Do not exceed the declared maximum allowable operating pressures!
- Do not use components or spare parts that are not OEM Walcom
- The instrument is not suitable for use with any type of abrasive or acid products, alkaline solutions, or petrol;
- After each cleaning, after each maintenance and/or repair and, in any case, before operating the spray gun, make sure
that all screws and nuts are tightened in their seat!
Never operate the spray gun in the presence of any damage or if any components are missing.
- The spray gun must never be transformed or modified on one's own initiative;
- For models equipped with a removable diffuser, do not connect the spray gun to the power supply system (air inlet) if the
nozzle is not tightened: danger due to the projection of the diffuser.
WARNINGS FOR CORRECT CLEANING
- Disconnect the spray gun from the equipment before any disammembly operations!
- Remove the remaining paint and pour it into another container. Properly dispose of any remaining paint.
- Disassemble the spray gun making sure to remove the needle before disassembling the nozzle to avoid damage to the
housing of the nozzle closure.
- Clean all the paint passages and the nozzle. Clean the other components using a brush soaked in solvent
(cleaning kit Ref. 90109/W recommended).
- Reassemble the spray gun and spray a small quantity of solvent to eliminate all the residues in the paint passages.
- Incomplete cleaning could cause function failures and a degradation of the fan spray form.
