Receiving Calls
Taking calls
When a call is received, lift the receiver or press the Handsfree button
converse with the caller.
Your telephone rings.
Lift the receiver.

Complete the conversation.
Display indicators:
The phone number of the caller appears in the display after the first ring. If the
caller's phone number is stored in the phone book together with the name, the
caller's name also appears. If no phone number is transmitted with the call, neither
name nor number appear in the display.
Conditions for displaying the phone number (CLIP) are:

Your telephone system supports the feature.

Your public analogue telephone network supports the feature.
–
The feature has been enabled for your connection.
Note on calls
Calls have been received since the last time the phone was used without you
having answered them. The calls which have not been taken may be stored in a
call list (refer to Section "Call list").
Message waiting
If the telephone is integrated in a hotel telephone system, for example, the yellow
LED can be activated from the exchange to indicate a message has been left for
you.
Lift the receiver and the message is played. On replacing the receiver, the yellow
LED goes out.
