Warning! Hygiene is the top priority
when handling breast milk and all
parts which come into contact with
it. You should therefore only use
a pump that
sterilised.
Wash your hands thoroughly
before using the breast pump.
The following parts come into contact with
your breast milk and must be immediately
cleaned and sterilised after every use
(see "5.1 Cleaning (Figure A in reverse
order)" on page 28 and "5.2 Sterilising" on
page 28):

10 Silicone cushion
11 Lip valve
12 Breast milk container
15 Feeding teat
16 Screw ring
17 Protective cap
18 Sealing disc
The following parts must never be cleaned

5.1 Cleaning
(Figure A in reverse order)
Warning! To avoid the risk of elec-
tric shock:
Unplug mains adapter 13 from the
wall socket before cleaning.
Caution! To avoid damage, carefully clean
the lip valve 11. We recommend just rinsing
off the lip valve and boiling it to sterilise.
Cleaning implements may lead to damage.
1. Dismantle the device as shown in figure B,
proceeding in reverse from 7 to 1.
Warning! Never submerge the
pump unit 3, the mains adapter 13,
or the USB cable 14 in water, as
this will damage the electrical
contacts.
