Bobike junior: a safe choice
You on the bike, your child in a bicycle seat behind or
in front of you, and off you ride. Sometimes we cycle
purely for the fun of it, sometimes because we need
to and we have a specific destination. Whatever the
reason for a bike ride, your child's safety is para-
mount. You have made the right choice by purchasing
the Bobike junior. To ensure proper and safe fitting,
it is important to read this user manual carefully first,
and then follow the instructions carefully. Dremefa, the
manufacturer of the Bobike junior, wishes you many
happy, and above all safe, bicycle rides.
From 5 to 10 years
The Bobike junior is suitable for children aged from
5 to 10 years. The maximum weight of a child in the
Bobike junior is 32 kilos. For children younger than 5
years or lighter than 20 kilos, choose the Bobike mini+
and Bobike maxi+. You can also use the Bobike junior
as a luggage carrier. You can secure luggage with
bungee-straps or use the bracket of the Bobike junior
to hang bags on. The maximum laden weight of 32
kilos also applies here.
Accessories
If you want to use your Bobike junior on several bicy-
cles, please ask your stockist about additional mount-
ing sets. Some bicycles need an ATB mounting bracket.
Your stockist can also advise you on this. Although it is
not compulsory for children between the ages of 5 and
10 to wear a seat belt, a lap belt is available for the
Bobike junior. You can adjust the length of the belt. The
seat is not suitable for mounting on mopeds. For extra
safety, you may also want to consider saddle spring
protectors.
Maintenance
Bobike child bicycle seats are simple to maintain. The
upholstery is attached with Velcro and can be easily
removed. This upholstery can be hand-washed. Clean
the seat with lukewarm soapy water. Do not use any
abrasive cleaning agents.

factured from durable materials and subject to strict

Method of mounting
Secure the Bobike junior to your bicycle using a mount-
ing set for the Bobike maxi(+) or an ATB bracket. These
mounting options are available separately from your
Bobike stockist. If you replace a Bobike maxi(+) with a
Bobike junior and use the same socket, you may have
to raise the saddle slightly in order to insert the Bobike
junior.
Nine steps to a correctly mounted Bobike
junior
An illustration is provided for each step, and has the
same number as the step.
1 A Mounting using socket
Secure the socket (G) to the vertical rear fork
under the saddle. Secure the opposite half of the
element with key 13, with the flat side against
the rear fork. Ensure that the socket is mounted
horizontally and with the T-shaped opening fac-
ing upwards.
B Mounting using the ATB bracket
Secure the ATB bracket to the saddle tube using
the supplied bolts, brackets and plastic washers.
To do this, take the large bracket together with
the plastic washer and the long bolts, and push
them onto the saddle tube from the front (see
the illustration). Then take the other plastic part
and the small bracket, and place them against
the back of the saddle tube. Use the supplied
Allen key to secure the brackets to each other
with the bolts. Do not fully tighten the bolts yet,
so that you can still slide the bracket to set the
correct position. Now fit the plastic socket into the
bracket using the two short bolts. Ensure that you
have the correct side facing upwards (opening
