ESCRIPTION
The KSP701 RS232 serial cable is designed for use with GE
Interlogix analogue addressable fire panels and enables the fire
panel to communicate with a PC, modem or printer.

ONNECTION
Version 2.0 or later of the GE Interlogix PCC-Config
software is required to update fire panel
configuration with this cable.
KSA701/FP1500
RS232 connectivity is pre-installed in these fire panels.

1. Connect the 5 pin plug to the RS232 connector (JP13) in the
upper part of the fire panel circuit board (Figure

KSA702/KSA705
A KAL732 (RS232 communications) card must be
installed before this cable can be used with these
fire panels.
To connect the cable:
As the fire panels do not include a matching plug the following
manual connection process must be followed.
1. Open the cable plug housing.
2. As the cables are not marked locate the adjacent RXB and
TXA cables before proceeding.
3. Unscrew and connect each cable to the fire panel connector
one at a time (see Figure
