6. Remove bumper beam – Using 13 mm socket remove (8) M8 bolts from
the bumper beam, (4) per side, return those to vehicle owner.
8. Tighten all M8x1.25x40 CL10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 27 ft -lb (36.61 N*m).
9. Trim lower fascia – a.) Remove the kick sensor from inside of fascia. B.) Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, measure, mark, and trim the lower
fascia. See Figure 2. Reinstall the kick sensor into position.

7. Install Hitch with Bumper beam – Install the Hitch with bumper beam
including bumper beam cover using (8) M8 bolts and (8) conical washers
supplied with hitch, (4) per side.
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
