8.4 If the cleave length is not correct , hinge
the clamp lever (10) in position I , and hold
the lever in position during removing the fiber
out of the two clamps and the splice,
Continue the installation as described in
section 7.5.2 without fiber and restart at
section 7.3.
8.5 If fiber buckling or fiber breakage occurs
during fiber insert of a cleaved fiber in the
splice, verify whether the memory affected
fiber is correctly installed on the fiber holder
(see picture in section 6).
8.6 If the splice holder cover (5) is opened
while the program control (2) is in position 2,
restart the installation using a new splice.
Verify for splice holder damage and splice
particles in the splice holder.
