Air supply requirements
The DIN ISO quality specifications require, that air is free
of solid particles larger than 5 micron, remaining water
content to be max. 6 g/m3 (pressure dew point+3 degree
C) and air may contain 5 mg/m3 of oil. Therefore please
observe the following:
• Operating with dirty and unlubricated air reduces tool
life substantially.
Before installing extension hoses, blow them clean and
minimize , if at all necessary coupling and keep them
clean.
• Conserve:
Put some drops of oil in the air inlet and briefly blow
through.
Safety Instructions
• Do not exceed max. operating speed of tool and clam-
ping element.
• Observe accurate mounting of insert tools.
• Observe mounting instructions for Mounted Stones!
• Run tool for a couple of seconds under no load,
replace vibrating insert tools at once, Protect mounted
points from knocks and grease.
• Secure work, use clamps or a vise to hold work.
• The grinder operator shall wear safety goggles or face
shield at all times when the grinder is in operation.
• If noise level exceeds 85 dB(A) at the work station, ope-
rator must use ear plug and/or ear mufflers.

Safety lever throttle action
This tool is equipped with a combination safety lever/ring
throttle. The machine can be turned on and off by turning
the lever.

B) Turn ring throttle counter clock wise to open turn clock
wise to close. Observe arrow direction.
Attention: Before connecting to air supply, check that
throttle is closed.
Grinding/Deburring/Cleaning
Do not treat any material containing asbestos.
Change of tools/abrasives
• Disconnect air supply before changing tools/abrasives
• Hold Spindle 4 with wrench 5, mount or dismount collet
6 using wrench 7.
• Check concentricity, use only vibration free tools and al-
ways observe M.O.S. (Max. operating speed). Observe
mounting instructions for Mounted Stones!
Maintenance
• Store tool in a clean, dry place.
Check the idling speed from time to time.
• Even if the tool still gives satisfactory service, have it
checked by a trained mechanic after 300 to 400 opera-
tion hours, or at least once a year. Disassembly motor,
clean and replace if necessary the four vanes.
Also check/replace grease (Isoflex NBU15) in the gear
head 1.
• Warranty claims can only be considered, if tool is retur-
ned complete.
