Operation
Initial Start-Up
WARNING: DO NOT use or operate the BaduJet Inspiration if any parts are missing or damaged.
CAUTION: Consult your physician before attempting any strenuous exercise. This product may not be challenging or
satisfying for all levels of exercise.
CAUTION: The pump MUST be primed before starting the BaduJet Inspiration for the first time. DO NOT run the pump dry.
If the pump is run dry, the mechanical seal will be damaged and the pump will start to leak at the seal. If this occurs, the
mechanical seal will need to be replaced. ALWAYS maintain the proper water level in your pool. Continued operation in this
manner could cause a loss of pressure, resulting in damage to the pump casing, impeller, and mechanical seal.
1. Remove the top cover from the BaduJet Inspiration. There are two (2) #10-24 phillips head screws securing the cover to
the base.
2. Locate the hand pump (part# 57). Attach the tube of the hand pump to the air purge valve on the pump. (See Figure 8)
3. Turn the air purge valve counter clockwise to open.
4. Pump until water flows out.
5. Close air purge valve clockwise and remove the hand pump. Re-attach hand pump to the bracket on the control box. NOTE:
The air purge valve must be closed during operation to prevent any air being sucked into the pump.
6. Replace cover and screws. (See Figure 9) NOTE: When replacing the cover make sure that the key snaps into place over
the safety switch.
