6. Tighten the nuts in a safe way with the end of the bar tightly held (12 – 15 N.m). Then check
the chain for its smooth rotation and appropriate tension, while moving the chain with your hand.
If necessary, tighten it again with the chain´s cover in a loose position.
Note: A new chain will expand its length at the begining of its use. Verify and readjust the
tension frequently because a loose chain could easily derail and could cause its fast wear and
that of the guide bar.

CHAIN FUEL AND OIL

· FUEL
WARNING!
• Fuel is very flammable. When using fuel, do not smoke, do not have
flames nearby and do not have materials that could spark nearby. Make
sure that you stop the engine and allow it to cool down before refueling the
unit again. Locate an outside clearance to refuel and move away at least
10 feet (3 metres) from the refuelling point before starting the engine.
• For the mixture use 100% quality synthetic oil for two stroke engines.
· RECOMMENDED MIXTURE FUEL RELATION 40 : OIL 1(2,5%)
• These engines are certified to work with unleaded fuel.
• Make sure that you use fuel with a minimum octane of 95
• Unleaded fuel is recommended in order to reduce the air´s
contamination for your health and for the atmosphere.
· HOW TO MIX FUEL
1. Measure the amount of fuel and oil that have to be mixed.
2. Place part of the fuel in a clean fuel container.
3. Pour all the oil and shake it well.
4. Pour the rest of the fuel and shake it again during at least one minute. Some oils are difficult
to mix depending on the ingredients, it is necessary to shake it properly so that the engine lasts
longer. Be careful, if you do not shake it enough, the piston could seize up.
5. Indicate the contents in the outside of the container for easier identification.
