The Top Rods (13A & 13B) are provided to ?t a 7' [2134 mm] & 8' [2438 mm] door. For an 8' door connect Top Rods (13A & 13B) with the two sided threads Fastener Bit (13C) as shown. For a
7' door use Top Rod (13B) that contains one threaded end hole. Screw threaded end of Top Rod (13B) half way onto Top Latch Pin (13D). Connect Rod Connector (13E) onto Actuating Plate
(13F) and secure with the provided Screw (13G). Measure Top Rod (13B) to the edge of Rod Connector (13E) and mark a Cutting Line (13H) on Top Rod (13B) as shown. Remove Top Rod
(13B) and cut the excess portion. Deburr edges. Remove Rod Connector (13E) and insert it into the non-threaded end of Top Rod (13B). Tighten Setting Screw (13J) on Rod Connector (13E)
until is securely fasten to Top Rod (13B). Re-install Top Rod (13B) to Top Latch Pin (13D) and to Actuating Plate (13F) and secure with the provided Screw (13G).

14 ADJUST & TEST
When Push Bar (14A) is depressed and the door opens, the Top Latch (14B) and Bottom Latche (14C) should retract. Press and release the Push Bar (14A) to test latch operation. When Push
Bar (14A) is depressed both Top Latch (14B) and Bottom Latche (14C) are to retract allowing door to open. When Push Bar (14A) is released both Latches (14B & 14C) remain retracted until
door closes. Both Latches (14B & 14C) engage when the door closes. Open and close door to check for clearance and locking operation. If Device does not work smoothly, adjust Latches
