3. Positioning of the safety elements

Lighting
Lighting is supplied and consists of two headlights (a white one at the
front and a red light fixed on the rear luggage rack) and two orange
reflectors positioned between the spokes of the wheels). The lighting
system is a safety mechanism for your bicycle and as such it must be
present on your bike. Make sure that your lighting system works
properly before riding.
White battery-operated front light (11): the headlight is attached
to the front of the bike. Switch the headlight on and off by
moving the switch located on the top. The headlight is powered
by two 3 V CR2032 button batteries. To change the batteries,
remove the transparent upper part of the headlight by pressing
down firmly on the tab (marked PUSH) located behind the
casing, taking care not to break the tab. Once this has been
removed, replace the two button batteries (CR2032), observing
the polarity indicated. Replace the transparent part by pressing
on the tab so that it slots into the notch.
Battery-powered rear red light (27): the headlight is attached to
the rear of the bike, under the luggage rack. Turn the headlight
on/off by pressing the switch located in the centre. The
headlight has an automatic parking stop system and an LED.
The headlight is powered by two LR6 AAA batteries. To change
the batteries, remove the screw located at the bottom of the
headlight and remove the cover. Once this has been removed,
replace the two AAA batteries observing the polarity indicated.
Used batteries contain metals that are harmful to the environment.
They can be returned to our stores to be disposed off appropriately. Do
not dispose of them with household waste or into the environment.
Batteries must be collected separately.
