5.5. Programming the first Somfy io local control point
5.5.1. Using a pre-programmed Somfy io local control
point
- Briefly press the PROG button on this control point: the
awning will make a brief movement; the control point has
been programmed.
5.5.2. After a single power cut
1) Press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously on the
new control point until the awning moves.
2) Briefly press the PROG button on this control point: the
awning will make a brief movement; the control point has
been programmed.

Checking the settings

- Check the settings of the upper and lower end limits using the Somfy io local control point.

OPERATION

6.1.

Standard operation

6.1.1. Favourite position (my)
Definition
Besides the upper and lower positions, an intermediate position known as the «favourite position (my)»
may be programmed in the motor.
To program, modify or delete the favourite position (my), see the section «Additional settings».
To use the favourite position (my):
- Briefly press the «my» button: the awning will start to
move, and stop in the favourite position (my).
6.1.2. STOP function
The awning is moving.
- Briefly press the «my» button: the awning will stop
automatically.
6.1.3. Up / Down buttons
Briefly press the Up or Down button to raise or lower the awning fully.

Operating with a Somfy io sensor

6.2.1. Operating with a Somfy io sun sensor (such as Sunis WireFree™ io)

Reaction of the awning to the wind rising
When the wind rises, the awning will start to move up to
the upper end limit. It is impossible to prevent the awning
from closing, or to lower it while the wind is still blowing.
Reaction of the awning to the wind dropping
When the wind has dropped, a manual down order may
be issued via the io control point after 30 seconds. However,
all automated systems will remain locked for 11 mins.
6.2.3. Feedback
After each order, the Sunea io sends a message. This
response is processed by the io two-way control points.
