3. CONNECTING THE VIDEO DOOR PHONE

a. Connecting the video door phone
To avoid disturbance and malfunction risks, do not put the video door phone cable in the same
sheath as electric cables.
1. Carefully connect the devices according to wiring diagram.
2. Only 4 wires are necessary for all the functions:
ring tone, image, sound, control of an automatic gate opener or control of an electrical strike or
lock.
Carefully observe the numbers and the colours of the wires between the monitor and the
roadside panel (no polarity to observe for the door-opener control).
Distance between the roadside
Connecting the monitor to the roadside panel:
For the monitor the wires connect to the terminal blocks on the back of the monitor, for the roadside
panel use the supplied cable if the length is sufficient or the 20 cm cord with the 4 coloured wires to
connect the cable you installed.

In any case, do not double the wires to increase size.
IMPORTANT !
If you try your video door phone before installing it, do not do it with the roadside panel and
the monitor in the same room, otherwise the video door phone will produce a shrill sound
(Larsen effect).
