D
The LED is a semi-conductive element which must only be powered
with continuous voltage. In order to ensure adequate operation, it
must be properly polarised: the positive terminal of the connection
part for powering the LED at the back of the MD is closest to the centre (Fig 3).
F
The MD is supplied non-sterile.
Before first use, the MD must be cleaned, decontaminated and sterilised (see
§ VI)
V.1 – Installation of the adaptor for the LED MD
x
Check that your treatment unit satisfies the electrical power for the
supply voltage (see § IV.3). If the electrical power is not indicated,
please contact the manufacturer of your treatment unit or your
installer.
• Disconnect the electrical supply for the treatment unit when installing the
adaptor for the LED MD. Risk of electric shock.
• Proceed as with replacing the bulb – refer to the motor manufacturer's
instructions.
• Insert the adaptor up to the stop.
D
The polarity of the power for the LED is important: if this does not light
up when in use, then use an adaptor for the LED MD with a polarity
correction or contact your installer.
V.2 – Connection to the motor
x
Check that the MD is completely dry before connecting it to the motor
Install the MD on the motor connection until ratcheting. For this, keep
the motor and the MD in the same axle.

or
notch of the motor (Fig 4).
Apply light traction to the MD to check that it is properly attached to the motor
connection.
Operational test by switching on the motor; start at low speed, then gradually
increase. If you notice overheating, irregularities, vibrations, abnormal noises
when using the MD, immediately contact your AS.
V.3 – Connection of the irrigation (Fig. 5)
Attach the spraying nozzle to the head of the MD.
Connect the extremity of the irrigation pipe to the nozzle entry.
V.4 – Disconnection of motor
Remove the MD by keeping it in the motor axle.
