2.3
Description of the transfer systems and transfer functions
Description of the transfer systems
The transfer system can be adapted to the corresponding requirements by extending its range of functions.
You will find examples of possible transfer systems in the connection diagrams.
Transfer system (3)
Table 4
Description of the transfer functions
The required system is put together by adding functions to the transfer system.

Table 5
2.4
Description of the primary store systems and functions
The primary store system transfers the heat from the heat source to the DHW cylinder.
The DHW cylinder is directly heated until it reaches the set temperature.

Swimming pool function
Function same as Cylinder 2 with valve (B), Cylinder 2 with pump (C) or Cylinder 3 with valve (N), but for the
swimming pool.
This function is only available if function B or C or N has been added. NOTICE: If the Pool (P) function has been
added, the pump/filter pump for the swimming pool must not be connected to the MS 200 module under any
circumstances. Connect the pump to the swimming pool control system.
6 720 647 922-21.2O
External heat exchanger for solar system at cylinder 3
• If the temperature at the heat exchanger exceeds the temperature at the bottom of cylinder 3 by the set
switch-on temperature differential, the cylinder primary pump is switched on. The frost protection function
for the heat exchanger is ensured.
This function is only available if function N has been added.
6 720 807 456-04.1O
Basic transfer system for transfer from a buffer cylinder to a DHW cylinder ( Fig. 40, page 186)
• If the temperature of the buffer cylinder (cylinder 2 – left) exceeds the temperature of the DHW
cylinder (cylinder 1 – centre) by the set switch-on temperature differential, the transfer pump is
switched on.
This system is only available with the user interface CS 200/SC300 and is configured via the settings for the
transfer system.
6 720 647 922-74.1O
Thermal disinfection of the DHW cylinder and the transfer station to prevent legionella ( HSE ACOP L8 for
UK) ( Fig. 40, page 186)
• The entire volume of hot water and the transfer station are heated up on a daily basis to the temperature
that has been set for daily heat-up.
6 720 647 922-75.1O
Basic primary store system for charging a DHW cylinder ( Fig. 41, page 187)
• If the temperature in the DHW cylinder is lower than the required DHW temperature by the set switch-on
temperature differential, the DHW cylinder is heated up.
This system is only available with the user interface Sense II and is configured via the DHW settings. A DHW
circulation pump can be connected.
