The smoke evacuation system is essential for correct stove operation. Make sure that the installed chimney has at least one inspection
hatch located in an easily accessible point to aid cleaning.
Chimneys in poor conditions can only be used by inserting a regulation smoke duct inside them (see standards on ducting).

If the fitting to the chimney is horizontal, it
is necessary to not insert the last section of
pipe too far, to avoid throttling the smoke.
Any free thickness between the hole in the
existing chimney and the smoke duct pipe
must be duly sealed.
