sit on the edge of a chair and spread the
orthosis over the affected leg (illustration 1).
slightly bend your leg.
Place the orthosis in such a position that the
wedges visible from the front are level with
the upper edge of the kneecap (illustration 2).
Please take care that the orthosis is the right
way round on your knee.
Now close the lowest strap on the front side
(strap 1) and the top strap at the back (strap 2)
(illustrations 3 and 4). Press the joints gently
backwards (illustration 5).
Now close the lower strap at the back of the
thigh (strap 3). Check that the strap is
fitting properly. the lateral joints should be
positioned slightly backwards (behind the
lateral middle line of the knee).
Now close the front upper lower leg strap
(strap 4), followed by the back lower leg strap
(strap 5) and finally the front thigh strap (strap
5) and then the front thigh strap (strap 6).
take a few steps or bend your knee a few times
to check the fit. if necessary, the strap can be
readjusted in the same sequence to guarantee
a good fit.
if you suffer excessive pain or discomfort while
wearing the brace, please remove the product
immediately and contact your doctor or
specialty store.
What can I do if...
... the brace slips?
Check that the brace is fitted properly. the
center of the brace joints should be level with
the upper border of the kneecap.
Make sure that the back thigh strap (#

take the covers off the knee pads and wear
the pads directly on your skin. Watch carefully
for skin reactions. skin irritation may occur in
people with very sensitive skin.
Do not wear the brace over clothes.

Care instructions

the inner pads and the condyle pads can be
washed by hand with a mild soap/detergent.
Leave to dry naturally. When used normally the
brace is maintenance-free. However, after using
the brace in water, the hinges can be lubricated
using teflon
screws are secure, tighten them if necessary.

Must be stored dry and at room temperature.
Must be protected from the sun and moisture.
