Warning devices
Attention:
Warning devices such as warning light,
flashing light and signal tone when revers-
ing must be regularly checked for function-
ing. Malfunctions must be eliminated
immediately. The operation of the machine
with missing or defective warning devices
requires increased caution and attention.
Caution:
National regulations always take priority.
These can require other behaviors and
must be adhered to.
Relocation drive
The direction of travel is controlled by the handle bar and the
speed by the driving switches. The speed is continuously reg-
ulated.
When the driving switch is released, the machine is deceler-
ated until it stops and the parking brake is activated.
• Switch on the machine (key switch).
The display lights up briefly.
The battery level indicator notifies you that
the machine is ready for operation.

104).
• To move forward simply push the driving switches forward.
• To move backwards push the driving switches backward.
Notice:
The speed is electronically reduced for
cornering.
Notice:
The squeegee is automatically lifted and
the cleaning solution supply is interrupted
for reversing during operating mode.
Moving the machine (in the case of a defect)
Notice:
Generally, the machine should only be
moved in pairs.
Attention:
Due to the high weight, manual movement
of the machine is risky!
Missteps can lead to personal injury and
damage to the machine.
• Movement is only possible when the release button is
pressed. (See page 96)
Brush installation
Before inserting, please check:
• that the brush does not fall below the red marking (bristles)
or 1cm of bristle length.
• the pad for wear and cleanliness before use.
Attention:
Do not use brushes which have reached
their wear limit. The wear limit is indicated
by the length of the red bristle. Do not use
worn or contaminated pads. Use original
TASKI brushes only. Failure to observe
these instructions may result in inade-
quate cleaning results or even floor dam-
age.
XP-R
• Position the brushes under the brush unit.
• Press the Brush drive ON/OFF button.
The brush unit is automatically lowered, cen
tered the brushes and stops.
• Stand on the running board
The brushes are automatically engaged and thus ready for
operation.
Attention:
Check whether the brushes are engaged.
Notice:
The brush drive is activated by pressing
the driving switch.
XP-M
• Push the brush up and insert it until it
engages.
