YOU CAN STOP THE INFLATION OR DEFLATION PROCESS AT
ANY TIME BY PRESSING THE POWER BUTTON.
4. As the inflation process begins, the display may
briefly show a downward arrow
the cuff is releasing any air remaining in the cuff
prior to measurement inflation.
5. The cuff will automatically inflate until the reading
is detected. You will see the numbers increase on
the screen and feel the cuff inflate slowly.
6. When the measurement is complete, the cuff will
automatically deflate, then your blood pressure
measurement and pulse reading results will show
on the display screen at the same time, Fig 4.
7. The Hypertension Indicator will indicate your
reading range on the left display in comparison
to the color bars on the face of the monitor, Fig 5.

8. If an irregular heartbeat was detected during
the reading, the Irregular Heartbeat Detection
indicator will appear on the display, Fig 6. For
more information see Interpreting Your Results.
9. The reading will automatically be stored in
memory, up to 60 readings.
10. Press the POWER button to turn the unit off to
conserve energy and battery life. The unit will
also automatically shut-off after 1 minute of non-
use.
