Keep the shipping carton and packaging in case you need to transport your phone.
If the equipment is damaged, do not use it.

Installing the Handset

Handsets are powered by 2 AA-sized rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
batteries. Batteries charge automatically when the handset is placed in the base
cradle or cradle of the optionally purchased desktop charger (See Chapter 7).
