4. Configuration of the board
(WBE 4120 /WBE 4120 D)
We use the same kind of control board for the
WBE 4120 / WBE 4120 D / WBE 4120 DT models (code
654044). If in case of assistance, for any reason, you
had to substitute it, you will need to check and turn on
the function of the automatic gauges.
To enter the use configuration menu, press "SET" until
the notice SET will appear on the left display and after
1.5s max, press "MM/INCH". Finally, in order to change
values use + and – DIAMETRE.
Here is the only possible function for the kind
WBE 4120 / WBE 4120 D / WBE 4120 DT.

NOTES FOR THE ASSISTANCE:
If you turn on the automatic gauges by mistake on a ma-
chine where they are not present, the display will show
you the message "Err 18" (measures not acquired). To
avoid the problem, disable the function of the auto-
matic gauges.

5. Calibration menu

As part of service and upkeep, on flange re-
placement or in the event of measurement
inaccuracies, it is advisable to calibrate the
WBE 4120 / WBE 4120 D / WBE 4120 DT. in the
following sequence:
1. Flange calibration.
2. Vernier caliper calibration (WBE 4120 D).
3. WBE 4120 /WBE 4120 D calibration.
4. Perform reference measurement.

In the following description the audio is activated.
1. Press and hold the <MENU> key.
2. As soon as CAL appears on the left-hand display,
release the <MENU> key.
3. Press the <mm/inch> key within 1.5 seconds.

Shaft unbalance correction

In the following description the audio is activated.
1. Fit the flange (refer to Sec. "Attaching the flange").

Do not clamp the wheel, do not use any clamping
tools.
2. Close the wheel guard.
« Measurement commences.

The unbalance measured is stored on completion of
measurement.

Electronic compensation is provided for any residual
shaft unbalance.

5.2.3 Calibrating the electronic vernier caliper
(WBE 4120 D)
1. Press the <MENU> button until CAL appears in the
left-hand display.
2. Press the <mm/inch> button within 1.5 seconds.
3. Press <MENU> twice.
« D-1 appears in the left-hand display.
4. Move the vernier caliper to rest position.
