9.2.2 Calibration with sample weight

Keep to the indications displayed on the monitor.
6. Select Calibration with sample weight and confirm
by pressing < I >.
« Calibration is started.
7. Bring the calliper gauge on the flange.
8. Bring the calliper gauge back to stand-by position
9. Press < I > or close the wheel protection cap.
« Measurement is started.
10. Apply the sample weight on the internal side of the
flange.
11. Press < I > or close the wheel protection cap..
« Measurement is started.
12. Remove the sample weight from the internal side
of the flange and apply it on the external side (12
o'clock).
13. Press < I > or close the wheel protection cap.
« Measurement is started.
14. Turn the flange until the weight is in 12 o'clock
position.
15. Press < I >.

Calibration is completed.

The performed calibration is automatically and per-
manently saved.

After having carried out factory calibration with sam-
ple weight, access the standard calibration menu
(see chap. 5.4.1) and perform the calibration with
wheel and sample weight (see chap. 5.4.4).

The balancing machine factory configuration can be
defined by enabling and disabling some operations;
i
Scroll the several items of the components inside
the menu with the buttons <o> and <u>;
i
Define the ON/OFF status with the buttons <z> and
<r>.
