The Prodigy AutoCode
maintenance.
• Avoid getting dirt, dust, blood, control solution or water
inside the meter through the test port or data port.
• Store the meter, test strips and control solution in the
carrying case after each use in a cool, dry place.
• Do not refrigerate.
• Use a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent to
wipe the outside of the meter.
*Your meter is a precision instrument.
Please handle it with care.

Battery

Your meter comes with two (2) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries.
The meter will alert you when the power is getting low by
displaying two (2) different messages:
1. When the "
on the display, the meter is functional
and the result remains accurate, but
you should change the batteries as
soon as possible. See Figure 40.
