Scope of supply
1x top triple clamp
1x bottom triple clamp
4x screw M8x50
2x screw M8x45
1x screw M8x25
Preliminary work
- Remove the front fender (see repair manual).
- Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand (see repair manual).
- Remove the fork legs (see repair manual).
- Remove lower triple clamp (see repair manual).
Preassembly of upper triple clamp
- Remove screws from the original triple clamp.
- Remove handlebar supports
- Place handlebar supports
the upper triple clamp (included).
NOTE
Mount the left and right handlebar supports in the same position.
- Mount screws and tighten to 40 Nm (Loctite 243™).
Preassembly of lower triple clamp
- Remove lower steering head bearing
clamp.
- Mount steering head bearing
(included).
Final steps
- Install lower triple clamp (see repair manual).
- Fit front fender (see repair manual).
- Check steering head bearing play (see repair manual).
- Take the motorcycle off the lift stand (see repair manual).
- Adjust the headlight range of the headlight (see repair manual).
