Tightening Up
Tighten up the angle to make bevel cuts
• Disconnect the tool.
• Set the cutter head into the 0° bevel cut position. Verify
the cutter head stop is making contact with the stop screw
for 0° bevel cuts (28)
• Adjust the 0° miter cut rotating table.
• Put down and secure the cutter head (see page 7).
• Set a square set against the table and the disc flat side
(A). Wearing gloves turn by hand the disc to verify the
square set is making contact onto various places. If the disc
is off somewhere in the square set it means the cutter
head is misaligned.
• To align the cutter head loosen the lower side of the stop
screw. Lower the stop (28) to prevent contact with the stop
in the cutter head.
• Move the cutter head until the entire disc face makes
contact along the square set edge.
• Keep the cutter head in that position and raise the stop
screw (28) until making contact with the cutter head stop.
• Once the cutter head is gauged, adjust the miter gauge
loosening the screw (a) with a Phillips screwdriver, and
setting it correctly onto the zero in the scale.
Tighten up the angle in the cutting guide
• Disconnect the tool.
• Put down and secure the cutter head (see page 7).
• Tighten up the 0° miter cut rotating table. Keep the
bevel-cut cutter head column on 0° (see page10).
• Set a square set against the cutting guide and the disc
face. The square set face should completely make contact
with the cutting guide (14) and the cutting disc (9).
• If the cutting guide or disc is not making contact along
the length of the square set, loosen the screws (A) that fix
the cutting guide to the table using the hexagonal wrench.
• Set the square set as reference and adjust the guide until
it sits perpendicular to the cutting disc.
• Tighten back the four screws (A) to fix the cutting guide
onto the correct position.
