Towing coupling
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends having the
assembly done by its contractors.

Additional attachment of towing coupling imposes higher demands on the cooling system
of the vehicle.
For that reason, a part of the cooling system has to be exchanged, following the informa-
tion saved at a service technician in an authorised ŠKODA AUTO service shop.
The towing coupling is designed for coupling of trailers of the overall weight up to
2,000 kg (the limitation of the trailer weight shown in the Technical Certificate of the
vehicle must be observed).
The towing coupling is manufactured according to the approved documentation, and
complies with the homologation E8 55R-01 55657.

General data

The design of the towing coupling meets all the Czech and international regulations. The
equipment passed tests complying with the EEC regulation No.55. The towing arm is fitted
with a ball journal of 50 mm diameter.
