Before beginning any installation work you must confirm the
following.
Wiring
•
Check that the electrical supply corresponds to that shown on
the rating plate. If the unit is connected to any electrical supply
other than stated on the rating plate of the unit, permanent
damage or improper/unsafe operation of the unit may result.
•
A means for all-pole disconnection must be incorporated into
fixed wiring, in accordance with local wiring regulations.
•
When connecting the unit to the electricity supply use electrical
wiring in accordance with all federal, state and local laws
and applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated
construction.
•
Connect the electricity supply using suitable conduit and
electrical fittings. Ensure that the conduit and wires are long
enough to connect to the backplate and the terminal block.
•
The unit requires a 15 amp circuit breaker with a dedicated line
and neutral.
SaFETY
•
Isolate the power before installation or service.
inSTaLLaTiOn
•
Make sure that the unit is installed in compliance with all
building codes and/or regulations.
•
The main unit must be mounted on a flat vertical wall capable of
supporting the full weight of the unit.
•
Use hardware as specified in this installation guide.
•
Ensure no pipe work (gas, water, air) or electrical cables, wires
or ductwork are located directly behind the drilling/mounting
area.
•
Dyson recommends the use of protective clothing, eyeware and
materials when installing/repairing as necessary.
•
This appliance is intended to be permanently connected to the
water mains.
•
This product should be installed with a device in accordance
with local regulations or for the US with ASSE 1070 and
CANADA with CSA B125.3 so that hot water delivered from this
product is limited to a maximum temperature of 49°C (120ºF).
•
Do not use sealant when fixing the unit to the wall.
•
Do not place the downward facing sensor of the tap over a
reflective surface, such as the drainage hole.

The unit is designed for dry, internal locations only.
•
Consult local and national accessibility codes and regulations

Ensure the required electricity and mixed feed water supplies are

Water pressure must be: maximum 8bar (0.8 Mpa) and
minimum 1bar (0.1 Mpa).

The sink should not be fitted with a drain plug.
•
When drilling holes, follow the instructions of the manufacturer
of the work surface.
•
This tap hand dryer is certified by HACCP International for
use in washrooms and food preparation environments, if it is
installed at least 2.5 metres from uncovered food.

Avant de procéder à l'installation, il est nécessaire de confirmer
