8. Canopy Assembly.

Locate 2 screws on underside of hanging bracket and remove
screw closest to the open end of the hanging bracket. Partially
loosen the other screw. Lift canopy to hanging bracket. Place
rounded part of slotted hole in canopy over loosened screw in
hanging bracket and push up. Twist canopy to lock. Re-insert
screw that was removed and then tighten both screws securely.
Slide canopy cover up to canopy, aligning rounded part of
slotted holes in canopy cover with screwheads in bottom of
canopy. Turn canopy cover to the right (clockwise) until it stops.

9. Glass Housing Assembly.

Install 6 candelabra base 15 watt max. bulbs (included) into
sockets in motor housing.
Locate 4 screws on underside of motor housing and remove
1 screw; partially loosen the other 3 screws.
Now, raise glass housing to motor housing until glass
housing touches rubber cushions on underside of motor
housing. Align slotted holes in motor housing plate with
loosened screws on motor housing. [NOTE: Motor housing
plate must be turned with rubber cushions turned toward
the motor housing.] Ensure glass housing is centered under
the motor and then twist motor housing plate to lock.
Re-insert screw that was previously removed; securely
tighten all 4 screws.
CAUTION: Screws must be tightened completely but be
careful not to overtighten screws as glass may crack or
break.

10. Blade Assembly.

Time Saver: Washers for blade screws can be set on each
blade screw prior to installing blades.
Locate 15 blade attachment screws and washers in
hardware pack. Hold blade arm up to blade and align
holes. Insert 3 blade attachment screws (along with
washers) with fingers first and then tighten screws
securely with a Phillips screwdriver. Repeat procedure for
the remaining blades.
Locate 15 motor screws/lock washers in hardware pack.
Align the 5 recessed holes in blade hub (please note label
on blade hub indicating THIS SIDE UP) with 5 of the 10
holes under the motor. Secure blade hub with 5 motor
screws/lock washers.
Slide blade arm through one of the small, rectangular
openings on blade hub, aligning holes in blade arm with
holes in blade hub --refer to drawing at right. Attach blade
arm with 2 motor screws/lock washers. Before securing
screws permanently, repeat procedure with remaining
blade arms. Securely tighten all screws.
Note: Tighten motor screws twice a year.
