IMPORTANT:
In order to optimize battery life, the programmable thermostat
reads the room temperature every 3 minutes and activates or
deactivates the relay accordingly.
BACKLIGHT DISPLAY
The display lights up any time a button is pressed.
The backlight automatically goes off 20 seconds after the last button
was pressed.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
The display constantly shows the battery charge status by means of
the '
' symbol.
Batteries are fully charged if all three battery level indicators are lit
up.
If the symbol is completely empty and '
batteries are low and need replacing.
If the display shows a blinking 'bAtt' sign, it means that the batteries
are too drained to allow the programmable thermostat to work.
To change the batteries proceed as follows:
1. Open the battery compartment cover (Fig. 4).
2. Remove the spent batteries, prying them out with a tool if
necessary.
3. Insert the new batteries, which must be alkaline 1.5V type AA.
4. If necessary reset the device by means of the button as indicated
in L on Fig. 4.
5. Check that the time setting is correct, reprogram the time if
necessary.
