PRECAUTIONS:
• Injection volume in excess of catheter manufacture's
specific lumen priming volume should not be used
• For use with adult patients only.
• Use aseptic technique.
• Do not apply by direct intravenous injection or added to
an infusion.
• Only to be used when exact catheter lumen volumes are
known.
• Single use only, do not reuse. Reuse of single use
devices creates a potential risk of contamination. 2
This may lead to patient infection, which may cause
illness or death of the patient or user.
• For prescription use only and to be used by a skilled or
trained professional only.
• Do not use if package is opened or damaged.
• Do not use if the cap on the syringe is not intact or
damaged.
• Before using, ensure that catheter lumen, extensions
and luer do not contain cracks, swelling or other signs
of damage before and after each treatment session.
• Prior to use, visually inspect the contents of each
prefilled syringe for clarity, particulate matter,
precipitate, discoloration and leakage. NOTE: Solutions
showing haziness, particulate matter, precipitate,
discoloration or leakage should not be used.
• Contents are sterile and non-pyrogenic in unopened,
undamaged package. Sterilized by gamma irradiation.
• Lot number and expiration date are located on pouch
and syringe label.
• If skin contact occurs, clean per facility's procedures.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
No known adverse reactions when the product is used as
indicated. Paraesthesia and/or dysgeusia may occur if the
product unintentionally passes into the vein.
