Mounting the factory header
– Remove the standard silencer and shock absorber (see the Owner's Manual).
NOTE:
The shock absorber does not need to be removed entirely. It is su cient to
remove the screws and to carefully place the shock absorber into the link
fork.
- Detach the exhaust springs (1) and remove the standard header.
- Mount the shock absorber (see the Owner's Manual).
- Mount and set up the FMF header pipes and attach them with the exhaust
springs (1) .
Do not tighten screw M8x25 (2) until the entire exhaust system is mounted
without strain.
Ensure that the brake line (3) of the rear master cylinder is not in contact
with the header.The distance between the header and the brake line must
be approx. 10 mm (A). Adjust the brake line if necessary.

- Remove the rubber bush of the original main silencer.
- Connect the FMF main silencer with the header and attach using the ori-
ginal screws and bushes (Figure B ).
