Assembly - Installing the Light Kit

Attaching the light kit pan
□
Remove one screw (NN) from the black bracket below the
fan motor assembly (E). Loosen, but do not remove the
other two screws.
□
Push the light kit pan (F) up to the fan motor assembly (E)
so that the two loosened screw heads fit into the keyhole
slots. Turn the light kit pan (F) to secure.
□
Re-install the screw (NN) that was removed in step 1.
□
Make sure all the screws are firmly tightened.

Installing the light bulbs and
glass bowl
WARNING: Do not overtighten when installing the glass
shade into the light kit assembly. Allow the glass shade to
cool completely before removing.
□
With the power off, install the two LED bulbs (J)(Max, 9.5W
provided) into the light bulb sockets.
□
Place the glass bowl(I) into the light kit pan (F), aligning the
three flat areas on the top flange of the glass bowl (I) with
the three raised dimples in the light kit pan (F). Turn the glass
bowl (I) clockwise until it stops.

Attaching the light kit fitter assembly
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect
the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the
light kit.
□
Remove one screw (SS) from the light kit pan (F). Loosen,
but do not remove the other two screws.
□
Connect the blue wire exiting the bottom of the fan motor
assembly (E) with the black wire from light kit fitter
assembly (G).
□
Connect the white wire exiting the bottom of the fan motor
assembly (E) with the white wire from the light kit fitter
assembly (G).
□
Push the light kit fitter assembly (G) up to the light kit
pan (F) so that the two loosened screw heads fit into
the keyhole slots. Turn the light kit fitter assembly (G) to
secure.
□
Re-install the screw (SS) that was removed in step 1.
□
Make sure all the screws are firmly tightened.
