Assembly and initial commissioning
3.1
Transport
WARNING
Danger due to uncontrolled movements
Improper securing of the unit may lead to serious accidents.
Loading must only be carried out by specially trained personnel.
The unit must be properly lashed when transported on a truck or trailer.
Only lashing straps with sufficient nominal strength should be used.
Use anti-slip materials for securing, e.g. anti-slip matting.
Do not step under or be under the lifted units when loading by crane.
NOTE
Danger of material damage during transport and setting down of the units.
Improper securing of the unit or uncontrolled movements may cause damage.
Exercise maximum care when moving and transporting the units.
Only transport the unit in its operating position.
The air/water heat exchangers are always transported in the packaging provided at the factory. It consists of a
covering carton, base plate, base and top padding.
Transporting the air/water heat exchangers
Requirements

Air/water heat exchangers are supplied in the factory packaging.
Required tools and materials

Lashing straps, if necessary loading crane
Procedure
Secure properly for transport using lashing straps. Always transport in the operating position.
Only lift the air/water heat exchanger at the housing.
Always raise the air/water heat exchanger slowly and evenly and park it securely.
Air/water heat exchanger was properly transported and loaded.
3.2
Storage
•
Do not expose the air/water heat exchanger to temperatures above +70 °C during storage.
•
Always store the air/water heat exchanger in its operating position.
Non-compliance will result in loss of warranty.
