Assembly and initial commissioning

3.1

Transport

WARNING
Danger due to uncontrolled movements
Improper securing of the unit may lead to serious accidents.
 Loading must only be carried out by specially trained personnel.
 The unit must be properly lashed when transported on a truck or trailer.
 Only lashing straps with sufficient nominal strength should be used.
 Use anti-slip materials for securing, e.g. anti-slip matting.
 Do not step under or be under the lifted units when loading by crane.
NOTE
Danger of material damage during transport and setting down of the units.
 Improper securing of the unit or uncontrolled movements may cause damage.
 Exercise maximum care when moving and transporting the units.
 Only transport the unit in its operating position.
 The air/water heat exchangers are always transported in the packaging provided at the factory. It consists of a
covering carton, base plate, base and top padding.
Transporting the air/water heat exchangers
Requirements
- Air/water heat exchangers are supplied in the factory packaging.
Required tools and materials
- Lashing straps, if necessary loading crane
Procedure

Secure properly for transport using lashing straps. Always transport in the operating position.

Only lift the air/water heat exchanger at the housing.

Always raise the air/water heat exchanger slowly and evenly and park it securely.

Air/water heat exchanger was properly transported and loaded.
3.2

Storage

• Do not expose the air/water heat exchanger to temperatures above +70 °C during storage.
• Always store the air/water heat exchanger in its operating position.
 Non-compliance will result in loss of warranty.
