General assembly requirements
NOTE
Danger to switch cabinet equipment from assembly chips
Assembly chips may penetrate into the switch cabinet when attaching the air/water heat exchanger cut-outs.
Protect the switch cabinet from contamination during assembly and use protective covers.
Ensure that the following general requirements are met for safe and reliable operation of the air/water heat
exchangers:
• The installation location of the switch cabinet must be such that there is sufficient space for water and
condensate drainage of the air/water heat exchanger.
• Installations in the switch cabinet must not obstruct air circulation.
• Secure switch cabinet against tilting.
• Ensure that the existing roof can bear the additional weight of the air/water heat exchanger.
• The air/water heat exchanger can be installed with or without an external unit cover.
• Protect the installation site from heavy soiling using covers.
