In order to make the electrical connection, insert the screwdriver into the cage clamp terminal (2B) and connect
the cables (4) to the air/water heat exchanger using the female multipoint plug connection (2A).
Firmly insert the screwdriver into the cage clamp terminal (2B). Do not turn, since this will damage the cage
clamp terminal.
Insert the female multipoint plug connection (2A) into the pin header plug connection (1).
Remove the protective caps from the protective equipotential-bonding (3).
Connect earth cable.
Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the upstream fuse before switching on; see
connection.
Air/water heat exchanger is electrically connected.
3.5.5
Adapting the upstream fuse /transformer options
Only air/water heat exchangers with a rated operating voltage of 400V / 460V can be optionally connected to
another mains voltage,
230V air/water heat exchangers do not have transformer options.
therefore required.

DANGER
Danger of fatal injury due to electric shock
Unconnected or incorrectly installed protective conductor systems can generate hazardous voltages and
cause electrical shocks resulting in serious accidents.
Only trained electricians may work on electrical connections.
Implement protective conductor systems in accordance with DIN EN 60204-1, Section 8.2.
Every single part of the electrical equipment must be connected to the protective conductor
system.
Never interrupt the protective conductor system if electrical equipment is attached to covers,
doors or covering plates.
If parts are removed, e.g. during maintenance work, make sure that the protective conductor
system is not interrupted for the remaining parts.
Never connect or disconnect the connectors of the mains connection under load or voltage.
Disconnect all supply lines from the separate fuse or main switch prior to working on the unit and
secure against being switched on again.
Work or settings on the transformer must only be carried out under sufficient lighting.
Ensure that the unit is free of voltage.
Requirements
Air/water heat exchanger is without voltage.
