Condensate drain
NOTE
Backflowing condensate may damage the electronics in the switch cabinet
Internal temperatures below the dew point or defective switch cabinet seals lead to excessive condensation.
Frequent checking of the seals helps to prevent heavy condensation build-up.
Assemble the condensate drain hose without kinks and do not reduce the hose cross-section.
Only lay the condensate drain hose on a gradient.
CAUTION
Danger of slipping due to incorrectly connected condensate drain
Condensate that drains off freely or improperly forms puddles of water that can pose a danger of slipping.
Collect any condensate in a condensate collection bottle.
Use condensate drain hose and regularly check connections for leaks.
Assembling condensate drain
Requirements
-
Air/water heat exchanger is mounted and without voltage.
-
Cooling water connections are assembled.
Required tools and materials
-
Assembly tool, condensate drain hose, hose clamp
Procedure
Fit the condensate drain hose onto the pipe end (1) protruding from the unit.
Secure condensate drain hose with hose clamp.
Attach condensate drain bottle, see ordering of accessories.
Check all connections for leaks.
Condensate drain is mounted.
Avoid excessive condensation:
• Adjust the cooling water temperature to the required cooling capacity.
• Only use the unit on leak-proof switch cabinets and housings.
• Set the target temperature as low as necessary, but avoid falling below the dew point.
