Introduction

An electrosurgical unit is a generator used to transform electronic energy into high-frequency
alternating current (HF current).
If this current flows through human tissue, it creates heat which is used for cutting and for coagulation
of the tissue. Electrosurgery is one of the most important energy methods in surgery.
Of all surgical disciplines, it remains the most effective combination tool between tissue cutting and
hemostasis. The HRF 100 x-touch improves the surgical results thanks to 4.0 MHz radio wave
technology.
The high frequency of 4.0 MHz minimizes temperature losses and thus does not damage the cells in
the vicinity. The clinical advantages include the reduction of post-operative discomfort, the
minimization of necrosis, the maximum recognition of the histological specimens, improvement of the
healing process with excellent aesthetic results.
The HRF 100 x-touch is the best user-friendly electrosurgical unit for outpatient and clinical
applications. The maximum output power is 100 W, both in monopolar and bipolar operation. The
display, the selection of the modes and the output power values are carried out on a color screen.
The HRF 100 x-touch is a versatile and compact electrosurgical device that meets a high safety
