Connecting to Bluetooth wireless technology enabled Device
□ Enable Bluetooth on your smart device.
□ Wait for the smart device to detect the flushmount and then select it to pair the device to the speaker. When successfully paired, the
speaker will emit a brief series of tones to indicate that your device is connected.
□ Play music from your device while connected to the flushmount to enjoy sound from the Bluetooth speaker.
□ Turn off music on your smart device, disconnect the flushmount from Bluetooth on your smart device, or disable Bluetooth functionality
on your smart device when sound is not wanted from the flushmount speaker
NOTICE: Bluetooth enabled smart devices typically have a range of approximately 33 ft. (10 m). Attempting to pair your smart device to the Bluetooth
speaker beyond the intended range can result in poor audio quality, drop-outs, or failure to connect.
NOTICE: Only one device at a time can be connected to the Bluetooth speaker.
Troubleshooting
Before doing any work on the fixture, disconnect power to the light fixture.
WARNING:
Minor problems often can be fixed without the help of an electrician.
Problem
The fixture will not light.
The fuse blows or the circuit
breaker trips when the light is
turned on.
The Bluetooth speaker will not
pair with a smart device.
Possible Cause
The power is off.
The circuit breaker is off.
There is a bad connection.
There is a defective switch.
The wires are crossed or the power
wire is grounding out.
The Bluetooth feature is turned off on
the smart device.
The smart device is out of range of the
Bluetooth speaker.
The smart device is not discoverable.
Solution
Ensure the power supply is on.
Ensure the circuit breaker is in the on position.
Check to ensure proper wire connections are made. Contact
a qualified electrician.
Contact a qualified electrician.
Check the wire connections.
Contact a qualified electrician or call ETi Solid State Lighting
customer service at 1-855-384-7754.
Ensure the Bluetooth function is turned on within the device
settings. A Bluetooth symbol should be visible somewhere
on the device screen.
Charge up the device being paired with the flush mount.
Smart power management may have turned off the
Bluetooth function when low on power.
Be sure the flushmount is within 33 ft. (10 m) of the smart
device.
Turn on "Discoverable" mode on the device to allow the
flushmount and smart device to recognize each other.
