INSTALLING THE TREADMILL
SELECTING THE IDEAL LOCATION
To make exercise a pleasant daily activity, the treadmill should be positioned in a comfortable
and convenient environment. This treadmill has been designed to use the minimum of useful
space and to adapt to your home.
Do not install the treadmill outdoors.
Do not install the treadmill near water or in an environment with high humidity.
Make sure that the power cable is not in a high flow location.
If the room is carpeted, check that there is enough space between the carpet and the treadmill
platform. If you're not sure, it's best to place a rug under the treadmill
Position the treadmill at least 1.20 m away from walls or furniture.
Leave a 2m X 1m safety area behind the treadmill so that you can get on and off the treadmill
without getting stuck during an emergency.
Once in a while, after prolonged use, you will see a thin layer of black dust under the treadmill.
This wear is normal and does NOT mean that there is anything wrong with your treadmill. This
dust can be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner. If you want to prevent this dust from falling on
the floor or carpet, place a rug under the treadmill.
Use an exclusive outlet
The selected outlet must be exclusive to the treadmill. It is important that no more delicate
electrical equipment, such as a computer or TV, share the same circuit.
CAUTION!
Make sure the platform is level with the floor. If the platform is positioned on an
uneven surface, premature damage to the electronics can occur. Read this manual
before operating the treadmill.
