Treadmill maintenance
Proper maintenance is very important to ensure the correct functioning of the belt. Incorrect
maintenance can cause damage to the belt or shorten the product's life. All parts of the belt must
be checked and tightened regularly. The worn parts must be replaced immediately.
Running belt adjustment
You may need to adjust the tarp during the first few weeks of use. All tarps are correctly
configured at the factory. It may stretch or become off-center after use. Lacquering of the running
belt is normal during the adaptation period.
Adjusting the Running belt tension:
If the tarp feels like you are slipping or hesitating when you step on it during exercise, you may
need to increase the tension of the tarp.
To increase the running belt tension:
1. Fit an 8 mm wrench to the left tension screw of the tarpaulin. Turn the key clockwise 1/4 turn to
activate the rear roller and increase the tension of the tarpaulin.
2. Repeat STEP 1 as the screw on the right side. Be sure to turn the two screws the same
number of times, so that the rear roller is at right angles to the frame.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the slip sensation is eliminated.
4. Be careful not to overtighten the running belt tension, as this can create excessive pressure on
the front and rear roller bearings. An over-stretched running belt can damage the bearings,
which would result in noise produced by the front and rear rollers.
TO REDUCE THE TENSION OF THE RUNNING BELT, TURN THE TWO SCREWS
COUNTERCLOCKWISE THE SAME NUMBER OF TIMES, CENTERED ON THE RUNNING
BELT.
When using the treadmill, it is possible that you apply more force with one foot than with the
other.
The severity of the deviation depends on the amount of force that one foot exerts in relation to the
other. This deviation can cause the running belt to decentralize. Such a deviation is normal, and
the tarpaulin will be centralized again when there is no one on the belt. If the running belt is still
not centered, you may need to center it manually.
Turn on the treadmill with no one on it. Press the FAST key until the speed reaches 6 km / h.
1. Observe if the tarp is deviating to the right or left of the deck.
If deviating to the left, with an 8mm Allen key, turn the left adjustment screw clockwise 1/4 of a
turn, and the right adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn.
If you are deviating to the right, with an 8mm Allen key, turn the right adjustment screw clockwise
1/4 of a turn, and the left adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn.
If the belt remains off-center, repeat the above step until the belt is centered.
2. After the running belt is centered, increase the speed to 13 km / h and check that it is turning
smoothly. Repeat the steps above, if necessary.
If you are not successful with the above procedure, you may need to increase the tension of the
tarp.
